Algerian Chawi singer, (born on April 15, 1963 - died on August 12, 2009). In the 1980s, he began his career with his hit Agoujil (the orphan) with the Faziri band. Katchou went on stage in several festivals in Algeria and abroad where he was one of the representatives of Chawi music.
