Takis Gritzelis (born on june 13th 1958, died on February 8th 2018) was a Belgian producer/composer of Greek origin, who had his peak moment during the New Beat boom in the late 1980s. One of his biggest Hits was Paris-Istanbul. He also honored the Greek island Myconos with a same titled 12" which was also seen as a critic of corrupt Greek politicians. Gritzelis' main output style was a fresh, creative and powerful sound for the clubs. Some of his tracks are an homage to the beauty of women and he was a master in making them move their bodies:Panagiotis Gritzelis aka Takis or Pericilis is the most known Greek New Beat composer worldwide.
