Cora Marie was the stage name of Cora Nell (maiden name) or Cora Myburgh (married name), a South African vocalist. This very popular singer of popular music and country songs was born 3 January 1953 and died in Pretoria on 8 January 1994 from cancer. She released 22 albums of which 14 received gold status. The song Gee Haar 'n Roos is the song she is best known for. She sang mostly in Afrikaans, but also periodically sang English songs on stage and on her recorded music.
