Since 2005, the band from Switzerland has been playing jazz, swing, chansons, soul and pearls from the world of evergreens in five languages and with a lot of charm, groove and humour.
The band name is a reference to Billy Wilder's comedy 'Some like it hot', starring Marilyn Monroe (aka Sugar), Toni Curtis (aka Josephine) and Jack Lemmon (aka Daphne). Since "Daphne" did not go down very well with the male band members, they all became "Josephines".
