Glasgow-based musician and composer, born in 1973 in Paisley, Scotland.
Metrovavan was born in 2000 as the solo project of full time Looper member Scott Twynholm (Scott left Looper in 2002).

The first single 'The Lost Notes' was released through Liquefaction in February 2000. It received "Single of the month" status in Record Collector magazine.
The album 'Retrofitting' was released in the UK, again through Liquefaction in 2001, and was followed by a US release, on Darla, early the next year. Metrovavan is primarily a studio project but have occasionally played one-off shows in Glasgow, London and Miami.
