Етнографічний Хор "Гомін"
The Ethnographic Choir "Homin" is a Ukrainian folk choir, based in Kyiv. Its founder and long-time leader — from 1969 to April 2016, was Leopold Yaschenko — composer, musicologist, folklorist, Ph.D., winner of the Taras Shevchenko State Prize of Ukraine. The main task of the choir is to popularise Ukrainian folks singing and the revival of traditional folk festivals on the territory of the city of Kyiv. The choir acts as an umbrella for a number of smaller collective choirs and ensembles including "Відгомін", "Нивки", "Євшан", "Козаки", "Криниця" and the trio "Лілея".
