Paperboy from Asheville, NC, was a rock band very much inspired by the high energy guitar/bass/drum bands of the early new wave scene and by the sneer-driven and straightforward vocal delivery of vintage rock and roll. The result was pure un-apologetic pop music. Their output was limited: One 12-song album, a 4-song EP and a single about cheese.
