The Adelphis hailed from Brooklyn, New York, and in 1958, they recorded two singles for Rim Records. Their debut single for the Brooklyn label was "Darling, It's You" backed with "Kathleen." This marked their entry into the music scene under the Rim Records banner.

Their second single, "Kiss-A-Kiss" b/w "The Sun Will Shine Again" (RIM 2022), continued their collaboration with Rim Records. The Edge label was owned by Rim Records, providing further exposure for The Adelphis' music.
