The Earons

Effective period / Period of releases: 1983 - 1984

Members: Kevin Nance, Lonnie Ferguson, Melvin Lee, Enrico Pizzacorola, Percival Prince

"The Earons" were a self-described 'Astro-Funk' band from 'Earon Earth' (actually from Tampa Bay, Florida). Group members had no names, only numbers:
.28 (Henry Pizzicarola, vocals)
.22 (Percival Prince, guitar)
.33 (Kevin Nance, keyboards)
.69 (Melvin Lee, bass)
.18 (Lonnie Ferguson, drums).
On 2008-11-21 the band surfaced again on a new official website which proclaimed that the Earons were still "here on Earth". Four new songs - "Future", "Written in America", "Numbers and Wires" (lyrics by Frank Venditti) & "Juliana's Cloth" (lyrics by Frank Venditti) - were posted, along with the video for "Land of Hunger".
