Overtone singing choir PRANA, founded in upstate New York by Baird Hersey, is named after the Sanskrit word meaning breath, vital energy and life force. The age-old sacred music of Tibetan Buddhist multiphonic chant and Tuvan throat singing are the roots from which PRANA's sound has grown.
