Echo Tail are an alternative/post-rock band that started up in 2014 by multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, Mark Stebbing and Tom Stebbing on drums.

Initially, Echo Tail were just an instrumental band since their debut album, 'Mirroring' until 2016, when vocals were fully introduced into the mix with the album, 'Drowning the Pacific'. The band has gone on to release more albums since then, focusing more on the alternative rock style with a hint of metal influences, shoegaze and dream rock sounds.

After the release of 'Beauty in Denial' in 2018, which was ranked 36th best album of 2018 by online music blog ‘Periodic Table of Synthpop’, Echo Tail decided to go on a break for nearly 3 years, and now in 2021, they are back with an upcoming new album, 'A Brief Escape From Life', a retrospective view on living, dreaming and time. The album promises to be a mix of fast, heavy hitting tracks and dreamlike, nostalgic sounds, dealing with themes such as social isolation, losing time and dreaming of things that could have been. 'A Brief Escape From Life' is due to be released on 9th April 2021.
