Derya Yildirim is a Berlin-based German musician who was born in Hamburg in the mid-1990s. With her band Şimşek, in which she sings and plays Bağlama, the artist fuses Anatolian folklore with Western psychedelia and has been releasing on the labels Catapulte Records and Bongo Joe since 2016.
