Basin Brothers, also known as "Al Berard and the Basin Brothers", is a Cajun band founded in 1983, playing both traditional and original Cajun French music. Original line-up consisted of Al Berard, Kenneth Angelle, Dwayne Brasseaux, Barry Hebert, Keith Blanchard, Mark Allemond and Kenneth Knott. The band originally played country and pop, but switched to Cajun music in 1989.
