Austrian painter and musician, born 3 December 1947 in Vienna, Austria.

After quiting his medicine studies, he went to Vienna's "Akademie für Angewandte Künste" which he finished in 1972. He was part of "Wiener Schule des Phantastischen Realismus" with Ernst Fuchs and Arik Brauer. At the same time, Austropop started to get more and more evolved and he wrote "Gummizwerg", a song about drug abuse. With this hit, he was on top of the charts for several weeks. Altogether, he composed over 100 songs but always focused more on painting. He still lives in as artist in Vienna and Carinthia.
