Banished Pills is the experimental ambient project of the northern-Italy based sound artist Edoardo Cammisa. Its main aim is to study and interpret what links sound to personal feelings, memories, sensations and experiences. Cammisa has been releasing music as Banished Pills on various labels since 2013. In 2020 he started publishing with his own name too, focusing his attention on what separates sound from silence and vice-versa, and on the multitude of interpretations and perceptions that the concept of "nothingness" can have in relation to sound.
