Real name: Johan Renck

Johan Renck, born 5 December 1966 in Uppsala, Sweden, first came into the spotlight as a musician under the moniker of Stakka Bo. He had some success with his music in his native Sweden, but soon moved on to directing. He has directed music videos for Madonna, Kylie Minogue, Robbie Williams, Beyonce, Robyn, The Knife and many others. He has also directed several commercials and released his first film in 2008. He owns a production company with another famous music video director, Jonas Åkerlund.
