“Fataka” a singer-songwriter from Madagascar, has a Medical Doctor’s Degree (Faculty of Medicine, Ankatso), Master’s degree in Health Science, Public Health option (IOSTM University of Mahajanga), Certified in Executive Public Administration (INSCAE), Medical Inspector and artist from Mahabo District, Menabe, Madagascar Health Office since 2013, and for “Dr Fataka”, singing is one of the most accessible and understandable way to reach hisc ommunity. "To satisfy my desire, I leave my office and exchange ideas with communities to understand their point of view regarding behaviors that could cause health problems in our society. At the moment of relaxation, I take my guitar and I call on all the health teams available and we try to compose songs based on the problems that we find in society, focusing the themes on the sensitive problems of the community in relation to health events that concern the Ministry of Public Health. Then we go into the studio and then we transmit the finished songs to local radio for airplay. Thus we were able to compose more than 35 songs/spots in the vernacular language without biomedical jargon while respecting the content of the messages formulated by our Ministry."
