Members: Fannie Lee Cobb

Group made up of four people that that had met in north Philadelphia. It consisted of Fannie Lee Cobb and Varcels, Bobby Harman, Charles Griffin, and Charles Robinson. They recorded a single "The Guy" / "Inside of Me" for Howard Ravitsky's Lash label. The A side was written by Cobb.

Cobb later appeared on recordings of the first-named Honey and The Bees . This group started out as The Creations in 1964. The line-up also included Lulu Martin and Rita Graves. They recorded a couple of singles for the Academy label. "Inside of Me" was recorded again by this group and was the B side of their second single, "Two can Play the Same Game".

The Fannie & the Varcells tracks, "The Guy", "Inside of Me" as well as the Honey & the Bees version of "Inside O' Me" appear on the 2009 compilation The Best Of Lash Records - Rare R&B & Soul Productions 1961-1975. The lady on the cover is said to be Fannie Lee Cobb.
