Ira was a Post-Rock band from Konstanz, Germany that was formed in 2003. On March 12th, 2015 the band posted on their Facebook page that they "decided to call it quits, just because we think that the story of this group is told".

The musical style on their debut album could be categorized as Post-Metal/Sludge while the lasted album sound more like Post-Rock. The band call their music "psychedelic black rock".
