Previously called The Bushbabies, Pete released a track on a Bite Back! Records compilation in the late 1980s. Performing as 'The Bushbabies', Pete supported No-Man and played various gigs around London. After moving from London to Norwich in 1992 and recruiting guitarist Dominic Varle UXB began writing in a dancier vein. A track 'Sexy Satie' appeared on the first Noisebox Records release Various - nbx001. After Dom left, Pete changed direction towards instrumental/electronic/ambient pieces.
