The Dardanelle Trio

Trio formed by Dardanelle in the mid-1940s. The trio appeared in the Copa Lounge at the Copacabana Nightclub in New York City, and included the guitarist Tal Farlow and bassist Paul Edenfield. Their repertoire included hot numbers, blues songs and some original compositions, novelty songs and older jazz standards. In addition to the piano, Dardanelle also sang in the trio.
