Born 11 August 1938. Died 6 April 2024.Bjørgulv Straume was among the best makers of the traditional Norwegian munnharpe, or jaw harp. He carefully hand crafted his instruments using traditional methods, and devoted much effort to achieving a pure and resonant tone. He also repaired munnharper.
