Elegies (エレジーズ) was a Hello! Project shuffle group (special annual units in Hello! Project composed of mixed members from current major units) formed in 2005, along with Sexy Otonajan and Puripuri Pink.

The name comes from the word “elegy”, a type of poetry. The shuffle unit ‘Elegies’ was Tsunku’s way of trying out his new word-play/trendy poetry style of lyrics. The main verse of the song, “Inshouha Renoir No You ni” consists of a series of Japanese Shiritori rhyme.
