Real name: Louis Herscher

American composer, lyricist, and pianist

Herscher's songs include "Dream Daddy," "Moonlight in Mandalay," Wake Up Little Girl You're Dreaming," and "Ring the Bell," which he wrote with his daughter Ruth Grahm, and which was adopted by Philadelphia's Bicentennial Committee to promote the celebration of the 200th birthday of the United States.
