There are five band members. Andy Forbes (lead vocal, lead guitar), Mark Ambrose (acoustic and electric guitar), Tim Shelley (drums, vocals), Paul Young (Bass guitar, vocals), Mike Shelley (keyboards, occasional guitar, vocals, songwriter - for band development - and lyrics).

"As Intrigue, we have been developing our musical style for 40 years (and via some name changes along the way) from a pop-folk-rock combination in the mid-1970s, through a moderately successful new wave period in the 1980s (as Crowd Control), to the current sound, which is best described as indie-prog. The music is strong on songs and melody, but with plenty of space for experimentation and instrumentals. The foundation of our music is a Christian worldview, with a tendency to write at a tangent to the usual gospel approach and lyrics".
