Student choir in Papua New Guinea. St. Peter Chanel Catholic College of Secondary Teacher Education was initially known as the St. Peter Chanel Minor Seminary. It was established in 1955 as a minor seminary to train local priests. In 2014 it was converted to a Secondary Teacher Training College. As a Teacher’s College, it offers four years of teacher training programs leading to the award of a Bachelor of Education in either Biology, Chemistry, Physics or Mathematics.
