Righteous Riders

Hailing from Indianapolis this crew consisted of Logik (Derek Lamont Coleman), Knowledge (Devon Golder), Vi Nu (Floyd "Rabbit" Tyson), Specialist (Rudy Ramos) and Blue Chip (Gerard Hennig) during their debut album The Awakening, 2001.

Duo
Boanerges is the name of the duo Blue Chip and Specialist. They feature on the track The Vibe, which contains a sample of Michael Jackson's song I Can't Help It (Off the wall).

Sophomore release
On their second album Internal Affairs (2002) the gospel singer Vi Nu seems to have left and Clayborn is added to the line up.

Disbanding
The crew made two records for the label Tyscot Records, before disbanding.

Nominations
Righteous Riders was a 18th Annual Stellar Award Nominee (2002) for "Rap/Hip-Hop gospel CD of the Year" with the album Internal Affairs.
