Members: Cameron Emerson-Elliott, James Roden, Richard Weinman (2), James Roden (3), Peter Lusty

Australian indie rock band (1996-1998) formed in Sydney by James Roden (vocals, bass), Cameron Emerson-Elliot (guitar, vocals), Peter Lusty (guitar) and Richard Weinman (drums).

Prior to the band’s formation, Roden played in a number of local bands in Canberra including The Smart and The Morticians, the latter of which also included Lusty.
Moving to Sydney, the duo eventually linked up with Emerson-Elliot and Weinman to form The John Reed Club
