Members: Gerd Onnen

It all began in 1959 with Folklore Singchor Stuttgart, as Gerd Onnen called his amateur ensemble, later the name was shortened to Folklorechor Stuttgart. In 1977 the choir was renamed to honor the special value of the work of its deceased founder: Folklorechor Gerd Onnen.
After Manfred Onnen not only continued his father's idea, but also increasingly followed in his creative footsteps, the current name was given at the beginning of 1980: Onnen-Chor.
