Death Metal band from Poland.
Monastyr was formed in 1991​ in Poland by Mariusz Master Wach ( guitars/vocals) , Jacek Faja Wajer (drums) and Jarosław Hodor Hodorowski (bass).
In 1992 they recorded first demo Exmortum with Mariusz Marian Marjański on vocal and Fryta on bass guitar. Exmortum been issued by Fala Records.
At the end of the same year Trio recorded demo Cannibal Rites that caught the attention of Morbid Noizz Production.
In 1993 Monastyr entered Warrior Studio to record great debiut album Never Dreaming which was released the following year by the Nuclear Blast Records.
