Brazilian conductor and bassoonist.

Born in Brazil, where he studied bassoon with Pedro Sierra and Elione Medeiros. From 1990 onwards he studied Baroque bassoon with Claude Wassmer, as well as medieval music with Randall Cook and Kenneth Zuckerman at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis. In 1999 he received his diploma for early music (Baroque bassoon) at the Centre de musique ancienne in Geneva with Lorenzo Alpert.
