OYAT started in the summer of 2009 at Tama Art University (Tokyo, Japan).
The band creates their own style of combing funk, soul, reggae, disco, African music, punk and alcoholic beverages.
The band released a 7-inch vinyl that includes "TIME IS OVER" produced by mabanua through Jzaay Sport x felicity in 2014, and their first album "WEEKEND SOUL BAND" in 2015.
OVAT has performed at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL '12 and '15 as well as Sunset Live 2015.
