Growing up in an artistic and musical world from the start, France’s Matéo Garnon quickly got hooked on to electronic music. After choosing the moniker Mato, the multi-instrumentalist found that for him, the switch to computers was an easy one to make. Constantly on the hunt for new sounds, psytrance was a natural fit. Being a fan of cinema and of the audiovisual realm as a whole, he often brings aspects of the creative process found in this parallel world. Mato’s multifaceted music, combines robotic and spatial layers, producing something that’s precise, chiseled, sculpted like only a true artist can do. Energy galore, these masterfully crafted tracks are powerful and subtle at the same time. Get ready for an experience that out of this world. A groovy, spontaneous trip through a colorful painting of sounds, a fast paced odyssey of the senses of which Mato is the guide and the mapmaker.
