Biography
Louise Roam
Real name: Aurélie Mestres
Effective period / Period of releases: 2015
On the old piano decorating the living room Aurélie Mestres made her first notes of music, she is 5 years old.Twenty years later, she created Louise Roam, the character of her solo project.
It gives us to understand a learned synthesis of her life, which is already full. Two decades of study of violin, guitar, trombone and then Steve Reich and Arnold Schönberg and finally the meeting of electro and travel.
From her travels, Aurélie draws inspiration and tells us by means of her music.
She starts the work of the first EP, Raptus, through sound landscapes (her soundscapes as she likes to name them) and the encounters she does there.
She recently reported from Sweden 4 tracks: Raptus, Oppning, Solsken and The Walk.
With great honesty, she gives here a complete work since she wanted to be: "the author, the composer, the interpreter and the producer".
Today Aurélie plays with Saycet, on stage she defends the third album, and composes for the image and the theater.
