Minami Kitasono
北園みなみ (Minami Kitasono) is a Japanese singer-songwriter. In 2018, he renamed himself 大沢建太郎 (Kentaro Osawa), and as of January 2021, reverted to the name 北園みなみ (Minami Kitasono).
Born in 1990, Minami Kitasono gained attention in 2012 after actively uploading tracks and ideas in his Soundcloud account. He studied the contrabass at a vocational school while doing part-time work along with playing as a jazz bassist. He has dabbled as a guest arranger for acts such as 婦人倶楽部, Lamp, and most recently Guiro.
