Mento band from Port Antonio, Jamaica, formed in 1955 by Moses Deans (Banjo)[Original Marron descendant like Sterling Thompson] with Papa Brown (Rumba Box) & Martell Brown (Guitar), Derrick Henry (Maracas & Percussion), David Martin (Guitar), Albert Minott (Rumba Box)... they will know different line up (Donald Davidson, Fitz Ramus, Leon Morrison, Sterling Thompson, Luther Summerville, Allan Swymmer, Noel Howard)
not to be confused with the other homonymous group who played with Hazel Wright and recorded on the Moodisc Records Label ! (Early Reggae group but not Mento !)
