Gust De Meyer is currently a Professor of Media Culture and Communication at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the Catholic University of Leuven.

In the early 80's, Gust De Meyer co-produced a radio programme alongside Wim Mertens and Ivan Hermans, called 'Funky Town' for BRT2 / Radio 2 (Belgium). He also recorded the experimental album 'For Amusement Only' as part of Merten's Soft Verdict project. His only solo musical output was the Casioworks tape on Ding Dong Records & Tapes in 1983, entirely made with the then fashionable Casio VL-Tone 1.
