Venezuelan singer, composer and producer born January 31 in the city of Puerto La Cruz. At the age of 4 she started in music, adopting cuatro as her first instrument; then she learns to play violin, organ and guitar, with the latter Judy discovers the composition. Judy complete her degree in Composition at the Ars Nova School and takes a master in singing with Jerome Kyles at Berklee College Of Music (Boston), there she's offered scholarship that she rejects for her desire to record her first album Judy Buendia and Los Impostores, in 2008 and was produced by Horacio Blanco (Desorden Público), this pop album had ska, reggae and rocksteady influence and enjoyed the praise of Rolling Stone Latinoamerica magazine and made the famed Rock Band include Judy's songs for X-Box.

In 2011 she released her second album, La Cantante Calza 37½, mixed by eight-time Grammy winner Cesar Sogbe.
