Hillbilly revenge was created in the provincial town of Drama, Greece, in 2012, in order to do exactly what their name suggests - Bash cosmopolitan pretentiousness with their grandpa's rusted sledgehammer. Their music is a combination of old school bay area thrash, crossover and hardcore punk. They have released a 5 track self titled EP, and have never to this day performed live in a town with a population more than a couple of thousand people. Nevertheless, their unique blend of musical influences, and spontaneous live shows have cause a buzz both in their native country but around the world in the underground hardcore/thrash community, gathering many favorable reviews in the underground press.
