Rhoda Roberts
American lyricist. She often collaborated with songwriter Kenny Jacobson.
She and Kenny Jacobson collaborated on more than 50 songs but also on four charted ones: "Put a Light in the Window" by The Four Lads, which landed at #8 in the U.S. in 1957 for The Four Lads at #25 in the U.K. for King Brothers; "Swingin' Shepherd Blues" by Ella Fitzgerald hit #15 in the U.K. in 1958; and "Ding Dong" by The McGuire Sisters hit #25 in 1958 in the U.S.
Roberts wrote the lyrics for the musical "Hot September" (1965) while Jacobson wrote the music.
