Pisgah began in 1997 as a solo project of John-Paul Kramer before he invited his friend Sam Hippensteel to join in 2001, and then recruited Jason Attig in 2003. After a tumultuous three years, Pisgah went their separate ways in 2006, shortly after releasing their debut EP on Metanoia Media.
