Promising/Youngster is the moniker for Diego Cadierno. This project arises from the need of rolling out his creations away from (but not far of) the dancefloor. Crunchy bases, fat basses, dreamy pads and analog and digital instrumentation join to form a landscape that could be named as a cross among IDM, Downtempo, Breaks, Ambient and Shoegaze.

In his live performances he teams up with visual artist Mucrovision, who creates exclusive pieces for this performance

Cadee is the project through which Diego releases his more dancefloor oriented works.

After more than five years exploring more “brain” fields (idm, breaks, electro...) with his alias Promising/Youngster, which allowed him to release in labels like Sin Hilo, Nebulae or Several Roots and play live all around Spain, Diego feels the need to go back to his more hedonist roots.

If we talk about style, Cadee’s speech is based on four-on-the-floor, making room for house, techno or disco-oriented structures, and everything in between. Acid, tribal and vocal touches are usual on his tracks, which are not usually faster than 120bpm
