They charted in the U.S. as a duo 17 times, "Deep Purple" hitting #1 in 1963, "Whispering" rising to #11 (#4 adult contemporary), and "Stardust", which hit #32 in 1964 (#10 adult contemporary). They also charted 3 times as a songwriting duo, hitting #41 in the U.K. with "A Woman's Story" by Marc Almond in 1986 (Phil Spector co-writing with them).
