In 1995 Marcus Schmickler did a number of pure electroacoustic performances under the name Wabi Sabi, some of which were collaborations with the video artist Joerg Pfeiffer. These performances and recordings were deliberately billed as Wabi Sabi to differentiate such music from his normal solo work.
