Bruce C. Allen

American guitarist and graphic artist.

Born September 7, 1955, in Omaha, Nebraska; died December 7, 2009, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Bruce was the lead guitar player for '80s Minneapolis band The Suburbs. After that band's split in 1987, he formed his own band, the Pilgrims. Later he was a member of Buzzwell.

As a graphic artist, he designed logos for The Suburbs and Twin/Tone Records.

After 2006, struggled with health issues, though kept playing once a month with a cover band, the X-Boys, until July 2009.

Formerly married to photographer Laurie Schendel Lane.
