Italian-born British songwriter, best known for the World War II hits 'Kiss Me Goodnight, Sergeant Major', 'Little Drummer Boy' and 'When The Poppies Bloom Again'. He was active in Denmark Street, London's Tin Pan Alley. He also had a recording artist son Leonardo 'Don' Pelosi (aka Lenny Angelo and Don Drake).
