Real name: Jan Evert Ingemar Olofsson

Swedish songwriter, music producer and music executive, and later photographer. Born 1944 in Orkeljunga, Sweden Died 2014 Malmö, Sweden. International Manager for Young Blood International, responsible for placing its product overseas and later was its managing director. Began in music singing at 14, called Rock-Ola. He was also a popular photographer of rock musicians in the 1960's and 70's including the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Sammy Davis Jr., Johnny Cash and Jimi Hendrix. Life eventually led him via Germany to Great Britain. He was also a club owner and music producer.
Came to England from Sweden in 1968 to run the Olga Records office in the U.K. The next year he started Green Light Records, an English label whose release, "Israelites," by Desmond Dekker & The Aces, became a #1 record inernationally. Named IRDA Manager of European Operations 1976. Also associated with Green Light Productions.
