Onryō was born from Deborah Pettine and Daniel Casari, later joined by Alessio Cattaneo and Giulio Galati (who was going to be also drummer for the death metal band Hideous Divinity). In 2012 the first 3 tracks demo with Tony Russo on bass and Federico Sisto on additional guitars and the single "Aokigahara". Struggles in the following years force the band to downsize to 4 and then 3 members but still really active on the live front playing with international bands like Hour of Penance, Nero di Marte, Nader Sadek, Weedeater and many many more.
2016 is the new course for the band with the recording of Mūto that will be soon released by Everlasting Spew Records, Edoardo Spadoni joining on 2nd guitars and new compositions for the liveset.
Onryō are anxious to deliver CHAOS everywhere.
