Son of a pianist, Sasha Argov began an artistic career as composer after moving to what would become later Israel in 1934 and first working in a bank.
He has composed more than 1200 songs, musical, movie soundtracks and more. He's perhaps the most popular and important Israeli composer of the 20th century.
