Akatharta (which means “unclean spirit”) are a “funeral death doom” band formed by Kam Lee in Florida in 1999.Originally named Urizen the project was beset with false starts & line-up changes until, along with Travis Ruvo (Echelon) on drums and Aaron Whitsell on guitar/bass Akatharta finally released their only album “Spiritus Immundus” in 2017.
